Pope in NYC Some people work hard and dedicate their lives to their endeavors. They need a break just like you and me. I think it’s only human to want to relax your mind and getting some “me” time in. If you work in an office job with the usual 2-3 weeks of vacation per year, don’t think it’s all that bad. Some people have it worse.

1. The Pope – Being the Pope is just one of those jobs where you’re basically in one area of the world 99.999% of the time. And since it’s a job you basically have the rest of your life, you’ve got to be dedicated to that location as much as the work itself. So part of me thinks that this trip to the US is part work and definitely part vacation. However, he’s obviously working too hard on this trip too. You know what the Pope needs? A nice pair of the finest German speedos and a trip to the beach while sipping on some holy water (on the rocks) and working on evening his tan. The rest of his body has to be as dark as his face and hands. I think it would bring about a good change in his health and mental well-being.

2. Tibetan Monks – sticking with the religious and current event theme, Tibetan monks are equally devout and dedicated to their location. Although it is of the world via the Internet, it is less clear as to whether they have taken their share of travels, especially for some R & R. Internet chatrooms aside, BuddhaBoy888 probably would enjoy seeing another part of the world too. However, unlike the Pope, they get plenty of sun. What they need is a night out in the big city, say NY for example. I think they would find temporary nirvana at a place like The Buddha Bar while meditating to some GOA trance.

3. The Hunchback of Notre Dame – Now this guy needs to get out more. Every time I’ve seen him, he’s always in that tower doing…. whatever it is that he does – I’m sure it’s important. But the point is, he can’t keep doing that and stay sane unless he gets out from those stone walls that not only imprison his body but his spirit as well. From that picture, you can tell that he really enjoys other animals and such, as I am sure they will all enjoy his company too. Therefore, it’s obvious that he needs a trip to see nature while hiking and camping out in the wilderness. Although I would suggest that he doesn’t walk around without his shirt on for too long as other campers might mistake him for bigfoot, and he has to explain to others that he’s actually the Hunchback of Notre Dame instead. That doesn’t sound fun at all.
