Time is precious when you’re on vacation. Every minute is a minute not at work or school, so you better use it wisely. I’m sure everyone knows that touristy places have tourist traps but if everyone knows, why are there still people there? I say stay clear at all costs (unless you’re going through the mall to use their air conditioning on your way to a real spot). Here are places you must stay away from:
1. Wax Museums – how exciting is it to see a life sized Arnold swa(sp) when you’re visiting Washington DC! Makes perfect sense to me… you know… the govenator at the … government.
2. ESPN Zone – just in case you need to catch up on the game you’re missing. Oh and also the Dave and Buster-like atmosphere you’re missing because you just can’t get that anywhere.
3. Malls – I don’t know about you but if I don’t see a Banana Republic every day, I feel uncool and out dated. The one in New Orleans must be different than the one in san Francisco.
4. The Cheesecake Factory – even worse than unoriginal food is having to wait an hour and 20 minutes for it. You can do without cheesecake for one weekend.

Pretty amused by these traps! Just for sharing, I don’t like wax museum, so didn’t follow my tour group to visit Madame Tussuad in New York City; instead we walked around Times Square, more interesting to watch the crowd. And I did recall passing by a no. of Banana Republic boutiques wherever I was in the city area in U.S.
Hey! I love the Cheesecake Factory!!
Feel free to drop by my site yeah?
